What are the benefits of RSS?
« on: December 21, 2011, 03:07:06 AM »
1. It gives you the latest updates.
Whether it is about the weather, new music, software upgrade, local news, or a new posting from a rarely-updated site you learn about the latest as soon as it comes out.

2. It saves on surfing time.
Since a RSS feed provides a summary of the related article, it saves the user's time by helping s/he decide on which items to prioritize when reading or browsing the net.

3. It gives the power of subscription to the user.
Users are given a free-hand on which websites to subscribe in their RSS aggregators which they can change at any time they decide differently.

4. It lessens the clutter in your inbox.
Although your email address will be required to enjoy the services of online RSS aggregators, RSS does not use your email address to send the updates.

5. It is spam free.
Unlike email subscriptions, RSS does not make use of your email address to send updates, thus your privacy is kept safe from spam mails

Hello Friends..........

1.Promotes creativity :When many people visit your blog or website, they come up with new ideas that can be used to generate new aspects.

2.Quality Information:New materials that are published as RSS feeds are updated every time. If these materials are based on educational matters like new findings, many people are able to read about them..

Thanks

RSS feeds to deliver content in new and innovative ways. Typically, RSS feeds contain news headlines and content summaries. Basically you can use RSS Feeds for any type of situation when you need to distribute news and updates to subscribed users in a timely and efficient manner.

    1. Significant improvements to search engine rank and increased traffic from search engines.
    2. The fastest way to get your website spidered and indexed by search engines - with an RSS Feed a new website can be listed in major search engines such as Yahoo in as little as 72 hours!

    3. Creates new ways for potential customers to discover your website, products or services.

    4. Provides another way to deliver your newsletter or e-zine to subscribers, many of whom are now reluctant to subscribe to email newsletters for fear of being spammed but will happily subscribe to a newsletter supplied by RSS feed.
    5. Encourages potential customers to become paying customers and dramatically increases repeat business from existing customers
    6. Creates a new income stream from selling advertising space within your RSS feed

RSS is beneficial to both publishers and website visitors. To keep things simple I have listed just a few of the benefits for both publishers and website visitors.

RSS benefits for publishers:

1. Reaching new audiences through syndication
2. Improved search engine optimization
3. Easier and less expensive vehicle for communication than email.
4. Additional way to communicate with customers or potential customers.

RSS benefits for website visitors:

1. Website visitors do not have to release personal information in order to subscribe to an RSS feed.
2. 100% opt-in, users control the content they wish to receive.
3. Faster method for scanning content (saves time)

RSS is a great addition to means of communication, do not burden the publisher and the maintenance of the site or in accordance with strict privacy guidelines. RSS feed compiled according to the user's choice, to eliminate any publisher burden be placed in the e-mail communications. Publishers no longer need to focus on spam, privacy policy, and age guidelines.
