Search Engine Optimization Tips
« on: November 23, 2010, 02:46:46 AM »
1. Insert keywords within the title tag so that search engine robots will know what your page is about.

2. Use the same keywords as anchor text to link to the page from different pages on your site.

3. Make sure that the text within the title tag is also within the body of the page.

4. Do not use the exact same title tag on every page on your website.

5. Do not spam the description or keyword meta tag by stuffing meaningless keywords or even spend too much time on this tag.

6. Do not link to link-farms or other search engine unfriendly neighborhoods.

7. Do not use doorway pages. Doorway pages are designed for robots only, not humans. Search engines like to index human friendly pages which contain content which is relevant to the search.

8. Title tags for text links. Insert the title tag within the HTML of your text link to add weight to the link and the page where the link resides.

9. Describe your images with the use of the alt tag.

10. Submit to the search engines yourself. Do not use a submission service or submission software.

Well, first decide which of your keywords and phrases to be searched by other people the most. In addition, choose keywords and phrases that have a smaller number of content already on Google. Then go to your website and send your content, and do not forget to include your keywords and phrases in the most important pages on your website and all the other pages too.

To improve the strategy of the SEO then there is required to follow the rules & regulations of the Google such as post only in relevant topic or category, also post in the do follow section and so on. There is also preferable to follow the white hat SEO instead of the Grey hat or black hat SEO otherwise it occurs the penalty from the Google to your site.

Best seo practice is to get at least one of your primary keywords in domain or sub domain name of your website.Use text for navigation menu instead of using images or Java scripts.Make sure you have links coming in to as many pages as possible. What does it tell a search engine when other web sites are linking to different pages on your site? That you obviously have lots of worthwhile content.

I have been doing SEO for many years and the SEO tips below should assist the reader in forming a basic understanding of how to create human friendly web pages which are easily understood by the most popular search engines.

1. Insert keywords within the title tag so that search engine robots will know what your page is about.
2. Use the same keywords as anchor text to link to the page from different pages on your site.
3. Make sure that the text within the title tag is also within the body of the page.
4. Do not use the exact same title tag on every page on your website.
5. Do not spam the description or keyword meta tag by stuffing meaningless keywords.
6. Describe your images with the use of the alt tag.
7. Submit to the search engines yourself.

Search engine optimization is the best way to promote the website on the internet network. Because it relies so heavily on SEO keywords, the most important keywords and key phrases are sprinkled throughout the body, should be used freely in the first paragraph of each page's content. It should also be keyword rich last paragraph of each page.

The first online SEO technique would teach you about SEO keywords; which keywords to use, whether to go for generic ones or long-tailed ones etc. Then comes the decision of suing primary and secondary keywords. Both are important, if not over-used. You will get to know of article submission tactics that can make your links appear to an interested audience. Title tags, Meta tags, usage of keyword in title, length of keyword used in specific areas within your website content are all discussed in SEO tips online.

Thanks for sharing the tips. While working some times we forget about the methods we need to avoid. We need to avoid the black hat methods like key word stuffing, duplicate contents, article spinning etc. They can show the negative effect of our work.
