chase,

In my country Firefox version 3.0 is number 1 web browser used, with 37% of market. Second place occupy Internet explorer 6.0 with 16%.

It’s very interesting that IE 6 rapidly going down lately. It’s all happening last couple months. All who design web sites finally can with more ease and less tests cross browser compatibility enjoy working on web sites.

Dinosaur at last goes to prehistory, where it belongs.

Agreed, IE 6 is still used by a LOT of people, mainly because of it being bundled with default XP installs and such. There are a ton of XP driven systems out there still.

You're right, the anti-IE6 movement has been gaining a lot of traction in the past few months. I'm glad to see the push for new technologies, exciting stuff!

I think stop supporting IE6 completely, when its market share falls below 5%. It is just not worth it for me. However, the decision concerns an individual piece of information as well. In addition, I can start dropping support for IE6 in the past - that is, when it reaches about 10%. They still hack, but a result of treatment faster and less.
