PHP is an open source language. It's security is very good and majority of websites are now built by php. And it is less complex than asp.net . Hope it will help you to understand why php is best

PHP is open source. It is of the best programming languages. PHP coding is less complex. It also support the Cms.It provides the high security in the world wide web-site by using cms.It is simple to learn and understand language.

For me php is excellent because it got excellent new functions.More efficient and as mainly it is a no cost ware so I don't need to pay for it.More it got excellent coding atmosphere and with very excellent help there and I got much more relevant articles on net.
