My rescue group got 5 six-month old puppy mill littermate Weims out of a shelter. The puppy mill had been raided due to cruelty to animals. (They were all standing knee-deep in fecal material) & had been unfed long enough to show ribs. All looked semi-healthy (but thin) at the time of pick-up
